We purchased this item for our 5-month-old son who still needs to be swaddled to sleep, but likes to nap in an infant seat. The separate legs are great. They make it very easy to secure him in the harness without disturbing him if he is almost asleep. It is very easy to get him into the Woombie, and he seems very content and secure once it's on. The fabric is pretty thin, which means I don't have to change him out of his warm winter clothes before I swaddle him for naps. It is also very stretchy, which lets him have some movement without allowing him to flail all over the place. The product description says it converts into a sleep sack. It does not.
